These terms govern the Amdavad Drop website and apps, operated by Humsafar Tech (“we”, “us”). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. Creating an account or accepting updated terms forms an agreement between you and the operator. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use member features.

1. A directory for introductions

Amdavad Drop helps people discover Ahmedabad artists, suppliers, organisers, venues and local opportunities. We provide listings, a needs board, saved posts and contact introductions. The pilot is free. We do not take bookings or payments, hold funds, provide escrow, employ listed providers, act as an agent for either party, or become a party to their contracts.

You and the other person independently agree identity, suitability, permissions, scope, dates, fees, taxes, cancellation terms, insurance and safety arrangements. Verify these before paying or meeting. A listing, category, featured placement or moderation approval is not an endorsement, background check, licence check, promise of work, or guarantee of quality, availability or reliability.

2. Who may join

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If acting for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so and their permission to share their information. Provide accurate account details, keep your email accessible, protect your credentials and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. Do not share an account, evade a suspension or impersonate anyone. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account.

3. Your listings and requests

Publish truthful, relevant and current information. You must hold the rights and permissions needed for text, photos, logos, links and contact details. Do not post another person’s private information without their informed permission. Keep public descriptions free of private or sensitive information. Prices and availability are supplied by members and must be confirmed directly. Close fulfilled or outdated requests. Edited listings return to moderation before publication.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, display and distribute it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and promote your listing within Amdavad Drop. The licence ends when the content is deleted, apart from restricted backups or records we must lawfully retain. It does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated sale of your work. Public content may be indexed, copied or saved by others outside our control.

4. Prohibited use

Do not use the service for unlawful goods or services, fraud, spam, phishing, deceptive advertising, impersonation, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, discriminatory exclusion, intellectual property infringement, or content that exposes someone’s private information. Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, defeat rate limits, harvest contacts, scrape personal information, manipulate engagement, or reuse member contact details for unsolicited marketing. Do not imply that Amdavad Drop guarantees or officially represents you.

5. Contacting members and external services

A verified account and current policy agreement are required to open contact details. By supplying your WhatsApp number with a post, you authorise its disclosure to verified members using the contact feature for relevant enquiries. This does not permit mass messaging or unrelated marketing. WhatsApp, Google sign-in and linked websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We cannot read your WhatsApp conversations or control those services.

6. Moderation, complaints and appeals

We may review, decline, hide or remove content and restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to address these terms, legal obligations, security concerns, misleading listings or harm to others. We may act immediately for urgent risks. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason through a moderation note or email, unless doing so would undermine an investigation or be prohibited by law. Moderation cannot identify every problem.

Use “Report” on a post or contact us below. Include the listing link, a clear explanation and supporting information you are entitled to share. Rights holders should identify the protected work, the disputed material, their relationship to the rights and a way to contact them. You may request review of a moderation or account decision through the same contact. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and respond within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires. Complex cases may need more information.

7. Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care in operating the service, but it may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. Listings and third-party content are provided by their authors. To the extent permitted by law, we give no additional guarantee of uninterrupted access, accuracy or a particular outcome. You remain responsible for reasonable checks and decisions in your dealings with others.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by dealings between members, third-party services, content outside our control, or indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or opportunities. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to INR 10,000. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, wilful misconduct or mandatory consumer rights, and do not remove a remedy required by law.

If your unlawful conduct or infringement causes a third-party claim against us, you are responsible for the reasonable, evidenced direct costs attributable to your conduct, to the extent permitted by law. We will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to respond. You are not responsible under this clause for our own wrongdoing.

8. Leaving and changes

You may stop using the service or delete your account from My space. Deletion removes your active account and posts as explained in the Privacy Policy; legal or dispute obligations already incurred may survive. We may end the service with reasonable notice where practicable. We will publish changes here and require renewed agreement before member features are used under a new version. No fee or paid subscription will be introduced without separate disclosure and your agreement.

9. Law and contact

Indian law governs these terms. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Ahmedabad, Gujarat may hear disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any forum or remedy you are entitled to use under applicable law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
